On the second Saturday of December we got together for the last meeting of the year to make a cute character Christmas tree and have a Christmas afternoon tea. Everyone finished the project made from stacked and stuffed Suffolk Puffs and added googly eyes and a nose, arms and a santa hat with a bell to their tree. Thankyou to the nannas and mums who helped with threading needles and assembling the project, we always appreciate you. It was good to see the students reading the directions in their newsheet too, I try to make them as simple as possible with a few diagrams as well. Everyone stopped briefly for a bite to eat, but then continued on with their work surrounded by drinks and food, which is normally not allowed at a meeting, but they really wanted to finish this project before they went home.
